Exhibition opening: “Zainki” by Oxana Lebedinskaya
The subjects of Oxana Lebedinskaya’s paintings seem vaguely familiar. Perhaps you heard this fairy tale as a child, but it was interrupted, and you forgot the rest (or maybe it was a cartoon on television, without a beginning or an end, interrupted by news and commercials).
Either way, in each painting, unknown creatures (also vaguely familiar) create a new myth (or a new world, which in this case is the same).
For the duration of this exhibition, Panda will become a semblance of the Forest Between Worlds from C.S. Lewis’s book. You will be able to safely peek into each of the worlds and return (this time you will not need either yellow or green rings).
