Publisher Hendrik Liersch: “At the invitation of the Georgian Book Center, I was in Tbilisi in 2017 and met the author Diti Ronen at the Goethe Institute there. This later gave rise to the idea of a book in the Corvinus Press. Some texts had been translated by the translator Anne Birkenhauer, others were translated by Johannes Schwarz, who lives in Berlin and is a friend of the author’s family. In addition, Gilead Tadmor was the graphic artist, who has already appeared in several issues of the original graphic artist magazine Body & Soul.
Together with my friend and painter Zoppe Voskuhl, who died too soon, we had the idea to show his works in an exhibition in Berlin. Corona put a stop to our plans, although everything was already planned.
All the more I am happy now here in Schöneweide to realize this plan. to realize this plan.
